Melissa is very knowledgeable and professional. She put our puppy (and us) through a very thorough 6 week puppy training course. Our puppy is much more manageable now. We will be using her again for future training needs.
I highly recommend Paws from Heaven Dog Training. Worked with our year old German Shepard just a few times and we see the change in him already. They explain everything they do and give us great tips. If you are looking for a trainer they are the best!
I have a small dog that comes from a rough background, so he was quite unsure of himself. He would charge at anyone he did not know. The way I had been taught to train dogs was not working for him. Melissa came and helped me to change how I was with him and my thinking toward prong collars. Mishka came better able to understand what he was being asked to do. Over time he also got more secure, therefore feeling safe. Thank you Melissa for your time and patience!!
Highly recommend! Melissa helped us with our lab/golden mix puppy. We started with the basic 6 week puppy course and continued working with her for another 6 weeks with a goal of off leash recall. Simply amazing what she helped us accomplish in such a short time. Not only is she great at what she does but she is flexible, great communication and very reasonable pricing.
I have a highly energetic German Short Haired Pointer who was a nightmare to walk on a leash. Anytime I tried I came back extremely frustrated with sore arms. A friend who has a service dog, recommended Melissa to give me some guidance. I am very glad that I followed that recommendation 🙂. I saw almost immediate changes in my dogs behavior after our very first session! So wonderful to be able to enjoy a walk with my dog.
